Christian Education

When it comes to Christian Education and Spiritual Growth, we believe we all can and should be lifelong learners. That’s why we have a range of educational opportunities.

Steeple People

Steeple People is a program for pre-school and elementary age children. These children come to church for the first 15 minutes so they can begin to be an active part of the church worship experience. Then, after an interactive exchange with Rev. Sandy, our Steeple People go off to one of two age appropriate Sunday School groups.

Teens Talk and Testimony

Our youth group, TTT – grades 6-12 – meets every Sunday 11:30 to 12:45. Yes, it’s a social time, but the primary purpose is Christian education, faith formation and discipleship training. Once every month, this group does a special activity in the community.

What They Say

The Church of the Western Reserve has been my church home since birth, allowing me to grow up knowing the love and support of the CWR congregation. Although I am now attending college, I look forward to opportunities to attend worship when I am home from school. In these moments, I notice and am inspired by how the church and congregation has grown, as well. I know that I will always have a warm and welcoming church family at CWR.

The children’s ministry at CWR is a place where children feel loved and embraced. Steeple People provides children the opportunity to be a special part of the service but also allows for separate time to engage in fun learning with their peers. Nursery services are organized and volunteers are excited to spend time with the children each Sunday. I love the investment that CWR makes in our children through it’s ministry.
