CLE Concierto presents a program of passionate and vibrant music by Iberian baroque composers, featuring Guillermo Salas-Suarez (baroque violin), Qin Ying Tan (harpsichord), and Brian Kay (baroque guitar and percussion). The trio will perform spicy duos for violin and guitar by Santiago de Murcia, a rarely heard sonata by José Palomino, and Félix Máximo López’s brilliant Fandango arranged for violin, harpsichord, and castanets.
The CWR Concert Series was designed with the intention of making monthly world class concerts available to EVERYONE in the Cleveland community and beyond. Each program is free of charge and open to the public, funded by annual donations from generous patrons throughout the season and freewill offerings at each concert.
