Hi everyone! Be blessed and inspired by today’s Bible verse and story.

With love, Rev. Dr. Sandy Seaton-Todd

Bible Verse Isaiah 60:19 The Lord will be your everlasting light.

Bible Story Isaiah 11:6-9 The Peaceable Kingdom One day the lion will live with the lamb, the leopard with the goat, and the cow with the bear. Infants will play near the cobra's den and the viper's nest. They will neither harm nor destroy on God's holy mountain for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord.

For now injustice continues before our eyes.

Another black life has been taken without reason. There has been an abuse of police power when power should be a responsibility, not a weapon. Hurt, hatred, insensitivity, and anger are boiling over. Law-breaking violent behavior is causing damage and is used by some to confirm prejudices and stereotypes. Communities are in chaos.

God's Kingdom is Coming. One day all will know the Lord. Righteousness, justice, and peace will prevail. There will be no more violence, fear, or death. Do not lose hope. Do not stop working for justice. Do not stop believing that you make a difference. Do not stop being a reconciler, a person of prayer, a person of love, a person of faith and peaceful action like Martin Luther King Jr., an agent of forgiveness, justice, and healing like Christ, the person God made you to be to serve God's purposes with love. Keep in mind the faithfulness and power of God, our Lord Jesus, and the ministry of the Holy Spirit. God is on the side of justice, and one day justice will roll down like waters and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.

May I ask why you are spreading this misquote of Isaiah 11:6? It is not the "lion will live with the lamb", but the "wolf will live with the lamb". Please double check before spreading the Mandela Effect, inadvertently. You are unknowingly contributing to the mistrust of the Bible among those who already have false memories about that verse. Thank you.
